Check out the tips below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compose-an-attractive-cv\">Compose an attractive CV<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com\/blog\/scanning-resumes\/\">Glasdoor<\/a>, the average recruiter spends 6 seconds reading a CV. By creating an attractive CV, recruiters will also be interested in reviewing your CV. You can use resume templates available on several websites, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/resume.io\/\">Resume.io<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kinzaa.com\/\">Kinzaa<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualcv.com\/\">VisualCV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resumonk.com\/\">Resumonk<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/zety.com\/\">Zety<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An attractive CV is important, but you need to make sure your CV is professional, easy to understand and typo-free. In addition, you should not make your CV more than one page. If needed, you can add additional information on the next page and keep the important information on the first page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-creating-a-cover-letter\"><strong>Creating a Cover Letter<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A cover letter is a summary of your CV that generally consists of 3 parts including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Opener: contains sources of information about the job opening and reasons why the applicant is interested in the position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content: self-promotes the applicant by including reasons why the company should choose the applicant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closing: contains a thank you note, the applicant&#8217;s contact details and the applicant&#8217;s expectation of being called for an interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A cover letter is important because it can reflect your skills and experience that are relevant to the position you are applying for. Unfortunately, sometimes there are still some applicants who do not include a cover letter. For this reason, applicants should always include a cover letter and can follow cover letter template references on websites such as Jobstreet, Resume Genius and The Balance Careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-attach-a-portfolio\"><strong>Attach a Portfolio<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A portfolio is a collection of documents and one&#8217;s work. In some fields of work such as Graphic Designer and Copywriter, portfolios are needed as a consideration for recruiters in seeing the quality of prospective workers as well as the work that has been done. However, it cannot be denied that some recruiters ask for additional documents (photocopies of ID cards, SKCK, KK, health certificates, etc.) depending on the needs of the company.
